February 13, 1998 – October 3, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Lindsay Catherine Norton, who left us far too soon on October 3, 2025, at the age of 27. Lindsay passed peacefully at Boston Children's Hospital, surrounded by the love and presence of her devoted mother, brother, and sister-in-law.
Born on February 13, 1998, Lindsay brought light and warmth into the lives of everyone she met. Although she never spoke with words, Lindsay said so much through her brilliant blue eyes that exuded love and created an aura around her. There was even an occasional side eye or sassy eye roll to tell us how she really felt. Lindsay's life touched many-family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit, enduring kindness, and painted toes will be remembered always.
It's been said that it takes a village, and Lindsay certainly had that with the dedicated nurses that loved and cared for her throughout the years.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Diane Norton, her brother, Craig Norton, his wife Gianna Norton, and her niece, Ava Lindsay Norton. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lindsay was preceded in death by her beloved father, Joseph Norton.
Services will be held by the family at Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. Plymouth, MA 02360 on Friday, October 17th from 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the PACT Palliative Care Fund (95408-01) at Boston Children's Hospital, in memory of Lindsay. Contributions can be made at bostonchildrens.org/giveinmemory or mail checks, payable to Boston Children's Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215-5301. Please include Lindsay's name in the memo line.
Her life was a gift to us all, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever.
