Elmer Gene May

Elmer Gene May, age 86, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Wendy Arlene Eubanks May; six children, Geneta House & husband Rick of London, KY, Sherry May Patterson of London, KY, Tim May & wife Tammy of London, KY, Donna Hotaling & husband Jeff of Corbin, KY, Jennifer Hale & husband Donnie of London, KY, Heidi Hacker & Andy B. of Dousman, WI; two siblings, G. C. May of Cannon, KY, Nella Hacker of London, KY; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Stella May; his parents, Tesco & Emma Mills May; his daughter, Brenda May; and by two siblings, H. R. May, D. Y. May.
Elmer liked to go fishing, and his favorite thing to do was to play Bluegrass music. He was a member of the Bluegrass Pilgrams Group and a member of the Church of Jesus. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Elmer Gene May will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Gary May officiating. He will be laid to rest at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
