Eloise Marie Reeves

Eloise Marie Reeves, 78, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on February 20, 2025. She was born on October 31, 1946, in El Dorado to Robert Jack and Lucille (Haskins) Davidson. She graduated from El Dorado High School and later became a dedicated advocate for the mentally ill and was a member of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI), a cause close to her heart.
On February 9, 1964, Eloise was united in marriage for 61 years to Ronald Reeves in El Dorado. Their love for each other was a testament to the beautiful life they built together. Eloise found joy in serving the LORD by teaching children at VBS and Sunday School. She also was a leader with Bible Study Fellowship and other Bible Studies. She was very caring and compassionate in her ministering to many individuals over the years. She cherished her travels with her husband, creating memories that will forever be treasured by her family.
Eloise was a devoted mother to her four children-Scott Reeves, Randall (Kim) Reeves, John (Arien) Reeves, and Chrissy (Parker) Tokarski-and a loving grandmother to Evan and Hannah Reeves, and Ella and Mary Tokarski. Her family meant the world to her, and she took great pride in being part of their lives.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucille Davidson, and her brothers, Dennis and Lonnie Davidson.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date, to be held at the Rose Hill Bible Church, 1410 N Main St, Rose Hill, KS 67133. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rose Hill Bible Church, to support their mission work.
