Emery G. Tisby

Emery "Chug" Tisby was born January 15, 1960 to Cinda Kate Rooks-Tisby and Travis Williams and he was raised by Bonner Tisby in Detroit, Michigan.
Emery was enrolled in the Detroit Public school System in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed at Chrysler and had several different jobs for a number of years before moving to Cairo, Illinois with his stepmother, Mrs. Alberta "Ma" Jackson. Emery also loved listening to the "Blues", drinking his beer, working on cars, carpentry work but most of all doing his favorite past time BBQing.
Emery married Rhonda Williams in the year 2000 and to this union one son was born, Thomas. Emery also fathered two children with Hannah Cooper, Emery Jr. and Cinda Kate. He met his Fiance' Mary Ross in 2014 with whom he resided.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cinda Kate and step father Bonner Tisby, brothers: Larry, Terry, Steve, Cliff, Gregory and Ezra, sisters: Marie Malone and Glenda Tisby, Stepmother Alberta "Ma" Jackson.
Emery leaves to mourn his passing: Fiance' Mary Ross of Klondike, Illinois, two sons, Thomas Tisby of Omaha, Nebraska and Emery Jr. of Klondike, Illinois, one daughter Cinda Kate of Paducah, Kentucky. One granddaughter, Rae'Lynn Tisby of Omaha, Nebraska, his father Travis (Shirley) Williams of Detroit, Michigan, three sisters, Louvenia Friday and Delphine Tisby both of Detroit, Michigan and Clemmie Jewel of Logansport, Louisiana, one brother Timothy (Vonne) Tisby of Detroit, Michigan. Three step sisters, Kenya Jackson and Pamela Bingham both of Detroit, Michigan and Sabrina Jackson of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, one stepbrother Urbane Bingham of Detroit, Michigan, ex-wife Rhonda Williams of Omaha, Nebraska, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
