Emma E. Locke

Emma (Conard) Locke, age 84 passed away peacefully at Riddle Memorial Hospital on August 14, 2025. Emma was the daughter of the late Oran and Helen Conard. Emma is predeceased by her husband Thomas W. Locke Sr.; her son Stephen Locke and her sisters Harriet, Alberta and Geraldine. She is survived by her children Thomas Locke Jr., Kimberly (James) McCunney; her granddaughter Jennifer Hill; grandsons Ryan and Sean Locke; great granddaughters Samantha and Guinevere Locke.
Emma spent her career in Southeast Delco School District as a Server for Sharon Hill Elementary and Cook for Academy Park High School. She enjoyed serving the staff and students and getting to create her own recipes to share with the school. Along with her career in Southeast Delco School District, Emma worked for 711 as a Cashier and enjoyed interacting with her customers and getting to play the lottery.
Emma enjoyed spending time in her garden and on her back porch, feeding the birds, and people watching with a glass of wine. She and her loving husband, Tom, traveled to attend Firemen's Conventions across Pennsylvania. She spent many summers at Glenolden Swim Club with her family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed her frequent travels to Jamaica with Tom.
Please join us in celebrating Emma's life on Friday, August 22nd at Cavanagh Funeral Home at 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074. Visitation will be between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. followed by her memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
