It is with deep sorrow and overflowing love that we share the passing of our sweet boy, **E'mon Jaseir Barbour**, at just 6 years old. Born with Trisomy 9, a rare and life-limiting condition, E'mon defied the odds every single day of his life. Though his journey was filled with medical challenges, his spirit was brighter than anything we've ever known.

E'mon wasn't just a fighter-he was pure joy. He had a laugh that could light up a room and a personality that left a mark on everyone he met. He loved his phone-but not just to hold it. One of his favorite games was throwing it on the floor just to watch someone pick it up (again and again!). It was his own way of playing and connecting-and it always made us smile.

And oh, could E'mon snore! He had a snore that could rival a grown man's, and it was just another reminder of how much life and presence he had in his tiny body.

The family wants to send out a special thanks to Brenda Parrish, Mr. and Mrs. Daquan Parrish (Uncle Q & Auntie Lexx), Joseph Lee, Brandon Johnson, Boyce Robertson, Junious Barbour Jr., Tralve Bass 3rd., Jaymese Jones, Pastor Jermaine Taylor and a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends who also loved E'mon.

E'mon Was called home to be with our Lord on August 16, 2025. He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers Frances Spencer and Teresa Casper, his great uncle Perry and his aunt Annabelle, and his grandfather David Ross.

In addition to his parents Eric Barbour Jr. and Jasmine Ross, he is survived by his sisters Sha'miyael, Jaiyara and Kalana; his brother Genesis Taylor; his paternal grandparents Eric and Twila Barbour; his maternal grandparents William and Joyce Hurt; his uncles William Hurt and David Hicks; and his aunt Na'Tasha Ross.
