Engelo was born January 11, 1988 to Pierre and Valerie (Ortiz) Charles in Los Angeles, CA. His hobbies were painting, drawing, and singing with the worship team for legacy church.
Survivors include his step Father; Phil Rieser, brothers and sisters; Romoulous Charles, Electra Charles, Philip Rieser and his wife Cynthia and Destiny Rieser, grandmother; Viola Villanueva, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Pierre and Valerie.

I'm so heartbroken to hear the passing of the amazing Engelo Charles. Meeting Engelo at MI was an honor. In no uncertain terms, he had the "it" factor. He was charming, funny, talented and vivacious. I never had a bad time when I got to hang out with him, or see and photograph his gigs. Thank you for those moments Engelo, you genuinely had an impact on me those few years. Wherever your spirit is now, never stop entertaining <3. RIP

I´m extremely saddened at the loss of such a beautiful human being. My heartfelt condolences go out to Angelo`s family. As the conductor for the Stevie Wonder choir, I only had the blessing of knowing him a short while but he has left an everlasting impression in my heart. He was one of the most loving and talented souls I have ever had the honor of meeting. You could see his beautiful soul threw his warm and constant smile and his amazing voice. This world has lost an angel on earth.

Respectfully sending sympathy and healing thoughts for your loss. I´m just a guy who patrons his place of employment, but in. The short 3 weeks I Knew Engelo, he made a possitive impact on me from first impression and had a great soul and wonderful spirit! Rest In Peace Young Man!
