Obituary of Enrique Agosto
Enrique "Henry" Agosto went home peacefully to the Lord on May 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Henry was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. He was a gifted lathe worker at Precision Electronic Glass (PEG), often making glass creations on his own time, such as chalices and vases for family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved spouse of 45 years, Kathleen (nee O'Brien); loving children Enrique Jr. (Allie), Mark (Jacqui), Nicole (Cory), Shawn (Tiff), and bonus son, Mike; adored grandchildren Lilianna, Jaxon, and Arielle; cherished siblings Margaret, Frank, Dean (Olga), Myrna, and Delma. He was predeceased by his parents America and Francisco, brother Willie, and brother-in-law, Eddie.
Henry was an avid Eagles and 76ers fan. He proudly cheered the Eagles to victory with his family during the 2025 Super Bowl. He enjoyed playing racquetball and loved to play/coach basketball.
He was a Secular Franciscan who loved the Lord and wanted to live his life simply, following the Gospel of His Lord Jesus Christ. In His footsteps, Henry ministered in the Cursillo Movement, prison ministry, and ecumenical work with people in recovery. A Knight of Columbus, he served his parish best by selling hoagies and raffle tickets with enthusiasm to the annoyance of all.
A friend to all, one of his weekly pleasures was delivering breakfast and lunch orders to his coworkers. He was never shy to share his wife's delicious meals with them as well. All of this was delivered with a smile and a good story. He was also constantly looking to play pranks on people. Tickling of ears and feet were his go to moves.
Henry grew more handsome as the days went on, always looking sharp with plenty of cologne to delight everyone in his path. His personality and charisma added to his charm. He was blessed with a wonderful ability to express his words; words and prayers so powerful, they would often bring us to tears.
His good works were too numerous to mention, and he was loved by all who knew him.
Please join Henry's family and friends in honoring his life with a visitation on Friday, May 30, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home and again on Saturday, May 31, from 10:00am until 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Lakes Church 19 Malaga Rd, Collings Lakes, NJ 08094. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, East Summer Avenue and, Clara St, Landisville, NJ 08326.
