Born on September 12, 1976, in Pender, Nebraska, Eric's journey in life was marked by a profound passion for culinary arts and an unwavering commitment to his children.
For the past 14 years, Eric shared his culinary talents at Embassy Suites in Olathe, Kansas, where he was known not just for his exceptional skills in the kitchen, but also for his warm spirit and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to experience his meals. He held a degree in Culinary Arts, a testament to his dedication to honing his craft and sharing his love for food with others.
Eric's interests extended beyond the culinary world; he was a loyal fan of the New England Patriots and Sporting KC, eagerly following their triumphs and challenges. In his younger years, he embraced his athletic side, enjoying playing basketball and soccer, activities that highlighted his competitive nature and zest for life.
He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth and "Ed" Joe Carter; his cherished children, Monroe Elizabeth and Emerson Janean. his brother, Ben (Melissa) Carter; and his niece Korabeth. Each of them will carry Eric's memory in their hearts, honoring the love and laughter he brought into their lives.
Eric James Carter will be remembered for his culinary skills, and his deep love for his family; especially his children. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him, and he will be profoundly missed.
Services will be held at a later date in Lincoln, Nebraska.
