Ericka Forman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Duffy-Poule Funeral & Cremation Services - Attleboro on Feb. 5, 2026.
Ericka Marie Forman, born on October 24, 1966, in Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in Providence, Rhode Island. A resilient, generous, and loving woman, Ericka's spirit was a beacon of light to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Despite her battles with chronic illness and addiction, Ericka's inherent vitality never waned, and she remained courageous until the end.

Ericka was the cherished daughter of the late Shirley (Grant) and Bill Jack Jeter. A proud graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Ericka held a degree in Anthropology, which fueled her deep interest in people and cultures. Her generous spirit was felt in the community as she devoted her time and energy to organizations like Planned Parenthood. Ericka was married to Gordon Forman, and together they raised their two beloved children, Miranda and Jerry, in East Greenwich, RI. Her love for her children was unwavering, and they were the pride of her life. Ericka is survived by her siblings Karla Shultz and her husband Dana, Paula Jeter and her husband Russ Greenberg, and Charles Jeter.

Ericka's creativity brought joy to those around her. She was passionate about painting, gardening, crafting, crocheting, and walking on the beach when her health permitted. She had a knack for adding vibrancy and color to every place she called home, which is a testament to her caring and good-hearted nature.

Ericka's journey was not an easy one, yet she faced each challenge with resilience and grace. Her love for her children served as a beacon of hope during her darkest hours. Today, we take comfort in knowing that Ericka's struggle has ended, and she now rests in a place of peace, free from the pain and challenges she faced in life.

Services for Ericka will be under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA. As we mourn Ericka's passing, we invite friends and family to share their memories and upload photos on Ericka's memorial page. In this way, we can honor Ericka's life and keep her loving spirit alive in our hearts.
