Erik Lee Erdmann, age 41, passed away on June 22, 2025. Erik was born on August 12th, 1983, in St. Louis Park, MN, to Stacia and Mark Erdmann. He grew up in Moorhead, attended St. Joseph’s School, and graduated from Moorhead Senior High in 2002.
Erik grew up enjoying time with friends and family, including camping adventures with his siblings. He loved playing tennis, baseball, skateboarding, and participating in Odessey of the Mind. He was a very creative thinker and problem solver.
Erik loved cars and found a close-knit group of friends to enjoy this passion with. In 2007 he flew to California and purchased a 1994 Mazda Miata and drove it back to Moorhead. He raced at Interstate Raceways and auto crossed the Miata for many days of fun and thrill. A few years ago, he purchased a 1987 Mazda Rx7 from his father and enjoyed many cruises.
His life was blessed with the birth of his daughter, Alexandra, in 2007, his pride and joy! They enjoyed many father daughter adventures and expanded their family with Sammy, their golden doodle, in 2015. Lexi remembers practicing reading the character text boxes while Erik played video games, when growing up. “Big Chef” and “Little Chef” enjoyed creating enticing meals at home for dinner.
Erik’s knowledge and skills were vast, as he took on various roles at KVLY, Luther Ford, Clinigen Clinical Supplies Management (formerly CSM). He developed many friendships throughout his career.
He is preceded in death by his father, Mark; grandparents John O and Amy Jean Johnson, and Victor and Mary Francis Erdmann; and his long time four-legged companion, Sammy.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Keller; mother, Stacia Erdmann; siblings Kristin Erdmann, and Jarrod Erdmann (Rochelle), nephews Isaac, Elijah, Owen and Andrew.
