Erik Olsen Obituary

A graduate of Antigo High School, Erik was Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Army.
He was a loader operator for the City of Antigo having retired in January of this year.
Erik was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the Leland Tollefson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2653, Antigo.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Lolly; two sons, Gilbert Olsen and Chad Olsen both of Las Vegas; four step-sons, Michael (Becki) McKinnon, Rick McKinnon, and Dave (Lisa) McKinnon all of Antigo, and Steve (Marla) McKinnon of Madison; two sisters-in-law, Lolita McKinnon of Antigo and Elva (Carl) Rydzewski of Georgia; a brother-in-law, Steve (Mary) Delapena of Elcho; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Jarod Fenske officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Military Honors will take place at the church following the service.
Burial will take place Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. at the Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Erik, please visit our floral store.
