Erin Marie Middendorf, a beloved daughter, sister, teacher, and friend, passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 42 in Liberty Township, Ohio

Erin was born on April 22, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Gary and Cindy Middendorf. She grew up with her sisters Kimberly and Sara, surrounded by the love of many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she cherished deeply.

A graduate of Lakota East High School and Miami University, Erin dedicated 15 years of her life to educating young minds as a junior high teacher at Lakota Plains. Even during the challenges brought on by the pandemic, she continued to teach virtually, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her students. Erin's passion for teaching extended beyond academics; she was known for her ability to form genuine connections with each student she encountered.

Erin was described as beautiful, kind, intelligent, and possessing a humor and wit that was unmatched. Her ability to connect with others on a personal level left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, survived by her father Gary, mother Cindy, sisters Kimberly and Sara, her fur-brother Wyatt, and numerous beloved family members.

Erin's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2 PM until time of Funeral Service at 4 PM.
