She attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated with honors She attended Central State University and graduated in 1966. She attended St. Phillips AME Church. She worked as a schoolteacher for 34 years at Whitney Young and West Tech until her retirement.
She loved flowers. Gardening was her favorite thing to do. She attended lunch with a group of retired schoolteachers called "the lunch bunch". They met every three months. She enjoyed traveling with her mother around the world years ago and going to the casino with her family.
Preceding her in death was her mother Agnes, father Fazel, brother Kenneth and sister Saleem Clark. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, John; niece, Angela; nephew, Sidney and a host of other family and friends.
