Ernest Richard Amadio

Ernest Richard Amadio, 80, passed at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD, on December 9, 2024. Ernest was born in Baltimore, MD, on May 14, 1944, the son of Ernest G. Amadio and Olivia (Backman) Amadio. After high school, Ernest began his carrier in the banking industry and married the love of his life, Donna Marie Toomer. Ernest enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, baseball, hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He was happiest on his weekly golf outings and dinners at the Elks Lodge. He also enjoyed his yearly visits to Maine and Ocean City and watching the Baltimore Orioles on TV. He could be found every Sunday morning at his daughter's house drinking coffee and discussing current events. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marie, and his wife of nearly 50 years, Donna. He is survived by his daughter Kim Burke (Thomas) and his three grandchildren Adeline, Cecelia, and Finnegan. Visitation will be at Lasting Tributes Funereal Care, 814 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis MD 21401 on Sunday January 19, 2025 from 2-4 pm.
