Obituary
Cadillac - Ethan "EJ" Koczan Jr., passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, 2023, following numerous medical concerns from his time of birth. He was only 2 years old.
EJ was born on November 24, 2020, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ethan and Jasmine Koczan. He was a bright, beautiful baby boy, who from the start beat many odds to bring joy into the world, and to his loving family. EJ was a loving big brother to his little sister, Malayka, and who loved craft time, Spiderman, and Mickey Mouse.
EJ will be forever missed by his loving family, his parents, Ethan and Jasmine Koczan, Sr. of Cadillac; baby sister, Malayka Koczan; grandparents, Jennifer and Ted Engle, and Heather and John Koczan; aunt, Christine (Ty) Quarry; great-grandparents, Joseph and Patricia Koczan; as well as many, many other loving family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in EJ's honor at the LifeHouse Assembly of God, on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior. Those in attendance are asked to wear bright and vibrant colors, in honor of EJ, to keep the service colorful. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Jasmine and Ethan Koczan.
