We are heartbroken to announce that Ethelmae Freidel (nee Downing), 89 of Cherry Hill passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2024. Loving mother of Kimberly Diamond (William), and Suzanne Mignogna (Wayne), and son-in-law Vincent Perna. Devoted "Mima" to ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband since April 1,1955 Kenneth L. Freidel, her daughter Brenda G. Perna and grandson Jeremy W. Mignogna.
She is also survived by her sisters Judy Downing and Dorothy Buccialia and sister-in-law Joan Downing.
She graduated from The Cooper School of Nursing, class of 1956. She retired as a nursing supervisor from Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores and then donating to those in need. She loved sitting on her glider swing where family and friends would join her. We will forever love and miss her.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday evening, May 13, 2024 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home located at 2426 Cove Rd. Pennsauken, NJ 08109
