Eugene Allen Foote Jr. resident of Park Hills Kentucky lost his fight on Monday, September 4, 2023, and passed away at home at the age of 55. Allen was born in Perth Amboy New Jersey, one of four children to Eugene Allen Foote Sr. and Mary Jane Foote. He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Jill Brinker-Foote, his son Benjamin Allen Foote (also known as his pride and joy), both of his parents, three beautiful sisters, Alana Mastrola, Janine Biebel, Jennifer O'Neill, as well as nieces and nephews who affectionally called him "the fun uncle."
Allen moved to Cynthiana Kentucky in his early twenties to carry out his volunteer ministry work. He made lifelong friends in this small town with his vibrant, outgoing personality. After marriage he and his wife moved to Northern Kentucky where they resided for the next twenty-six years. His quick-witted, perceptive, thoughtful, and generous personality won the hearts of many friends over the years.
For nearly two decades Allen experienced health challenges but never wanted people to label him as 'sick'. Since 2005 he suffered with severe migraines from a non-cancerous brain mass. The mass returned shortly after brain surgery and became inoperable in 2009. In the past year, he suffered greatly from the side effects. He was also diagnosed with stage four cancer, and never complained throughout the treatments. His favorite word was 'temporary' as he focused on better days that lie ahead. He would rather center his attention on other people and their needs. In his volunteer work he was determined to learn the language Hakha Chin so that he could reach the hearts of refugees in our area with the truth from the Bible. In addition to his volunteer work, he loved gardening and design. He could decorate, design, organize, or fix anything with his creativity.
Allen loved people! He mastered what we call sarcasm with love. We will miss that hearty laughter, the 'no filter' comments, the sincere 'how are you', the heartfelt commendation, the crazy dancing, the beautiful flower arrangements, the loyal Cher fan music, and his deep love for family and friends. The world has become a duller place without Allen. His family and friends look forward to the time when the hope that was Allen's anchor is fulfilled and we will see him in his garden, doing what he loved the most, hosting friends and enjoying God's creation. Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:10,11,29
The Foote family will have a small private service in New Jersey. We are forever grateful for the support from dear friends and family over the past year. Allen viewed these ones as did Elisha with Elijah who said, "As surely as Jehovah is living and as you are living, I will not leave you." 2 Kings 2:2

Today I woke up & the first thing I see was Allen's obituary staring me in my face as my alarm went off. It was in memory of Allen. It's as if he were saying, 'hey you, I'm not going to let you forget me, I will see you soon.' I have to say, 'time flew by & it will be no time until you will bless us with your presence again.' (Jo 11:25) If only you could hear me when I say, "I miss you my friend & counting the days until I see you again." Respectfully, Bin...

What can I say, next to Jehovah, Allen, you are by far the best girlfriend a girl could ever have! You listen with your heart. There's strength even in your tears. So grateful for your gentle & mild spirit. Never had a brother write me before to cheer me up. Only you would do this... (Pr 15:23) You always made me smile when you greeted me with, "hey you," and then with those hands & mouth moving, I gotta work out, hard to keep up. Yup, that's the Italian in you. U R 2 MUCH! So glad your love for Jehovah led you to Jill. It's been like watching the best girl flick seeing your love play out. I wish I could hit the rewind button. Allen, you are the canvas that Jehovah painted so perfectly showing what true friendship is; 'a gift' to us all (Pr 18:24; James 1:17) Having you as my friend makes me count my blessings twice. When I drink my cup of tea I think of you. And with every flower there is reminds me of the beauty in your heart. (1 Sam 16:7) Miss you so much my brother, my friend. Counting the days until your return. Respectfully, Your litl' & sassy sista Bin...
