Eugene R. "Dick" Spradau

Eugene "Dick" R. Spradau, 86, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on November 19, 2025 at his home.
He was born on August 13, 1939 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Eugene and Elvera (Boldt) Spradau.
Dick graduated from Plymouth High School in 1957. On February 20, 1960, he married Nancy Holstrom at Salem United Church of Christ of Plymouth. Nancy preceded him in death on February 27, 2011.
Dick was a semi-truck driver for CW Transport. He loved watching the Green Bay Packers and would alter his schedule to make sure he didn't miss a game. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping, traveling, and playing cards especially Sheepshead.
He was a member of the Winooski Bowmen Club, Community UCC in Elkhart Lake where he served on the church board, and was an instructor for over 25 years for Hunters Safety.
Survivors include his very special friend, Carol Bergen of Plymouth; two children, Vicki (Tom) Atchison of Arizona City, AZ, and Michael (Cindy) Spradau of Plymouth; three grandchildren, Merve (Sinan) Sezginer and their daughter, Maya all of Istanbul, Turkey, Katie Spradau (Stelio Michaliloudis) of Sheboygan, and Evan (Francesca) Spradau of Harrison; brother, Ralph (Tina) Spradau of Greenville, SC; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; daughter, Claudia Kay; and two sisters, Verona (Cal) Helming and Barbara (Les) Brannan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 11:00am-12:00pm; with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00pm. Pastor Dale Miller will officiate. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Dick's name for the local hunter safety program.
