Farida Mehmud

FITCHBURG-Farida Mehmud, 73, of Fitchburg, passed away on Friday August 22, 2025 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Farida was born in Pakistan, on June 2, 1952, a daughter of the late Mian Ghulam Ahmad and Rabia Begum and came to the United States in 1981. She served in many capacities in the ladies Auxiliary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Her husband Bashir Mehmud passed away in 2021. She leaves her two sons, Furqan Mehmud of Fitchburg, and Raza Mehmud of Gardner; 4 grandkids, Rayyan Mehmud, Syeda Furqan, Subuhun Furqan, and Kazim Mehmud; her three sisters Mahmooda, Saeeda, Majeeda, and one brother, Naeem Ahmad A viewing will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg followed by a prayer service at 11:30AM and procession to Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg for burial.
