MRS. FAYE ALLEN

Mrs. Faye Hendrix Allen, 88, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Allen was born October 13, 1936, in Grantville, daughter of the late N.H. Hendrix and Mary Lucille Bearden Hendrix. A 1955 graduate of Hogansville High School, she lived in Coweta County for a number of years and had been a member and served as pianist at Faith Baptist Church in Moreland. She enjoyed travel, but her love for her family was the most important part of her life.

Survivors include her daughters, Angie Allen of Pensacola, FL, Amy Connally and her husband Stan Connally of Mountain Brook, AL; son, Art Allen, Jr. and his wife Tisa Allen of Newnan; grandchildren, Danielle Smart (Josh), Morgan Hollins (Misty), Cade Connally (Lauren), Court Connally (Payton), Anna Katherine Allen; great-grandchildren, Cambryn Connally, Callen Connally, Mary Landon Smart, Maci James Smart, Noah Jensen, and Maelah Hollins. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Arthur Harold "Bubber" Allen, Sr.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. (EDT), Monday, August 25, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Charlie Pharis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (EDT), Monday, prior to the service.
