Mrs. Betty Faye Arthur, 75, entered into rest on Tuesday January 28, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Don Arthur; previous spouse, Charles Earl Fields, and parents Jerry Russell Sheffield and Olive Chriswell (Thurmond) Kirkland.
She is survived by her sons, Van (Tammy) Fields, Wayne Fields, Eric (Rhonda) Arthur; siblings, Paulette (Roy) Fields, Don (Patsy) Sheffield, Jimmy (Amy) Sheffield, Ron (Corrine) Kirkland; grandchildren, Kenny Clark, Ashlee Clark, Kaci Lee Gibby, Megan (Trent) Erwin, Ashley Cody) Gross, Myah Arthur; great grandchildren, Charles Kody Fields, Meredith Erwin, Micah Erwin, Owen Gross, and Nora Gross; and several nieces and nephews.
Faye was a long-time member of Millbrook Baptist Church, where she took great pride and enjoyment from the time she spent with her prayer group “Sunshine Ladies”, and the work she did every year with “Operation Christmas Child”. She was passionate about helping any and everyone she could. More than anything she loved her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday February 3, 2025 at 12 P.M. with Pastor Bill Howard to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
