Felix Molton Adams II, age 52, went to meet the Lord on Thursday, January 11, 2024, and was greeted in
Heaven by his Brother, his Grandparents, and his Uncle Charles. Felix was born on Sunday, January 2,
1972, in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. His proud parents were Felix M. Adams and Ellen Gainey Adams.
His family roots ran deep in Perry, Taylor County, Florida. As a young lad, he was his Granddaddy Adams'
sidekick. Like his Dad, he often worked and played along the banks of the upper Fenholloway River, which
flowed adjacent to the Adams' old homestead. The river was where he was baptized at age 8 after he
accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. The Fenholloway River was deeply significant to him.
His formative education was completed at Taylor County Elementary, North Florida Christian School in
Tallahassee, Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, and Sumter High School in Bushnell,
Florida. At North Florida Christian, he was a drummer in the band and it was where he reaffirmed his
faith in Jesus Christ. At Sumter High, he played football and graduated in 1990. He began his college
career at Tallahassee Community College and worked several jobs. Recognizing his desire for a faster
pace, he enrolled at 'Lively' Technical College in Tallahassee and landed on a career path that was just
right. As a teen he developed a great interest in the utilization of computers, but more importantly it was
the creativity and the increased challenges of intelligence that captured his attention. Building on that
interest and his talents, he completed in record time the computer technology and programing studies at
Lively. As 'head of the class,' he offered assistance to his classmates and he was a distinguished
graduate. He found his niche. The vo-tech Certification started all engines on go and launched him on a
successful career conducting Data Conversion, Data Migration, and Database Management that lasted
over 30 years.
Regarding his personal life, his family was his core of strength and his friends were friends for life. He
was an avid reader of fictional novels and a variety of nonfiction writings. He enjoyed all types of music.
He enjoyed critiquing Action, Science Fiction, Thriller/Mystery, and Historical movies. He was proud to
have scored a Hole-in-One at SouthWood Golf Club. He was an avid lifelong Florida Gator fan.
Felix a/k/a Sean is survived by: his Father Felix M. Adams, Sr. (Kim) of Bushnell, FL; his Mother Ellen Frances
Gainey Yon (Kenny) of Tallahassee, FL; his Sister Hannah Adams Gomez (Billy); his Sister Micah Adams
