Fiona Tidwell, age 52, of Hendersonville, departed from this world on April 22, 2025.
She was born on January 13, 1973, in Newport News, Virginia. Fiona moved to Tennessee with her parents, Bob and Shelli DeGraff, in 1982. Fiona graduated from Gallatin Highschool in the Class of 1991. Fiona truly enjoyed her career as a Dispatcher. She worked at Dad’s Towing for the past nine years as a Night Dispatcher, and she loved the work she did there and the people she worked with. They became another family to her. She took pride in her work and was a loyal and dedicated employee. Fiona was proud of her Irish heritage; however, she was fiercely family oriented, and her priority was her family. Fiona, or shall we say #Vixen, loved to play Fortnite with her grandchildren all hours of the night. This became especially important to the grandchildren, and Fiona, as her illness progressed, and she was mainly bedridden. They had their own team. She appreciated the fine art of all things earthy or spooky, or, black and purple, which were her favorite colors and music. She also took the time to appreciate nature; not only did she care for wildlife, but she also enjoyed collecting rocks and crystals. Fiona had the best laugh and was known to be quick-witted and fun. Her family and friends will continue to share laughs as they remember her sarcastic humor and her funny quick retorts.
Fiona was a strong, determined, and independent woman; while also being loving, friendly, kindhearted and joyful. She will be dearly and deeply missed by many.
Fiona Michelle (DeGraff) Tidwell is survived by her father, Bob DeGraff; mother, Shelli DeGraff , maternal grandmother, Janice Potts.; daughter, Miranda Tidwell (Matt); sons, Kyllor DeGraff (Crystal), Justin Herren; grandchildren, Abigail Smith, Luke DeGraff, Aydan Stroh, Roman Stroh; cousins, Tauna Potts Kingery(George) , Ethan Potts, Alayna Potts, Falynn Lowe, Larry Henricks, and many other Potts and DeGraff cousins, along with several other aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, David Lee Potts; paternal grandparents, Vern and Betty DeGraff; and uncle, Fredrick Potts.
