Florence Virginia (Turnbough) Botkin
Florence Virginia (Turnbough) Botkin was born on February 13, 1937 in Huzzah, Missouri to Dewey and Thelma (nee Britton) Turnbough and passed away October 28, 2025 in Lake St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 88. Florence graduated from Beaumont High School with the class of 1954. She married Ronald Botkin on June 6, 1954 in Gulf Port, Mississippi.
Florence was the beloved wife of Ronald Botkin (deceased), loving mother of Steven (Valerie) Botkin, Janice (Kenneth) Niezwaag, Gerald 'Jerry' (Elaine) Botkin and the late Carl Botkin, dear grandmother of 9; Andrew, Nicholas, Brian Botkin, Curtis, Matthew Niezwaag, Ashley (nee Botkin) Johnson, April Botkin, Bradley, Brianne Botkin (Stipanovich), and great-grandmother of 2, Bailey Johnson, Kendall Brand. Dear sister of Helen (nee Turnbough) Kemp, Mary (nee Turnbough) Curry, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Florence took great pride in caring for her family, she always made holidays special by hosting family gatherings. She was very close to her sisters, Helen & Mary, whom she was in contact with daily. Her extended family was very important to her. As was her relationship with Jesus, she was a member of the Christview Christian Church, and supported church services at her independent living facility when not able to attend Christview.
Florence will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation Monday Nov 3, at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St Charles, MO 63304, from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service 12:00pm. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to The American Cancer Society appreciated.
