ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Daniel Picard will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 6, 2025, at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, honoring the life of Florence Chauvin LeBouef, 87, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Coby Harrington, Donovan Marbury, Cameron Meyers, Cade Boudreaux, Trent Frith, and Jonathan Guilbeau.
A visitation will take place at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 101 N. Leonard Ave., Abbeville, on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be prayed at noon.
Florence enjoyed numerous pastimes, including her beloved bingo games and visits to the casino, where she reveled in the company of friends and family. She will be remembered for her bright smile and the laughter she shared with her loved ones.
She is survived by her three daughters, Neysa Harrington (Michael), Tracy Richard (Thomas), and Amy Meyers (Ken); grandchildren, Coby Harrington, Katie Frith, Jill Marbury, Laura Guilbeau, Caroline Boudreaux, Kate Meyers, and Cameron Meyers; great-grandchildren, Eli Harrington, Stevie Marbury, Nash Marbury, Evelyn Guilbeau, and Elizabeth Guilbeau; and one sister, June Osburn and her husband, Phillip.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Joseph LeBouef; parents, Yennis Chauvin and the former Ella Touchet; brother, James Chauvin; and sisters, Shirley Dubois, Helen Bruno, and Judy Connor.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Abbeville General Hospital for their exceptional care and support during Florence's final days.
