Florence M. Spilis

Florence M. Spilis, 92, passed away on March 4, 2024, in Sylvania. She was born May 5, 1931, in Toledo to Stanley & Josephine Andrasik. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1949.
In 1952, she married Ronald Spilis in Toledo. Florence was an accountant at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI for 25 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Point Place. She enjoyed reading, travelling both in their motor home and internationally. She loved her home in Shoreland, enjoyed her neighbors and her garden. She also loved attending her Woodward High School reunions. She was proud of her Polish heritage, Polish food and Polish and country western music. Florence dearly loved her dogs.
Florence survived by her son, Michael (Mary) Spilis or Charlevoix, MI; granddaughter, Kristen (Patrick) Ryall of Toledo; great-granddaughter, Katy, also of Toledo; and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Ronald; her parents and sisters.
The family would like to say a special thank you to her hospice nurses, especially Sean and Cari, as well as the staff at Dogwood at The Grove at Oakleaf of Sylvania.
