Florence Jean Wetzel

Florence Jean Wetzel of Ocala, FL, formerly of O'Hara Township, PA, age 92, passed away on April 20, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Florence was the daughter of the late Zygmunt and Mary Dziubinski. Florence was a graduate of Sharpsburg High School and worked for Herbick and Held Printing as a receptionist for 20+ years. Florence was very active as a Girl Scout leader, was an avid reader and bridge player, enjoyed sailing and square dancing and traveling with her husband and family.
Florence is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Wetzel Jr., whom she married November 27, 1952. She is survived by her daughter, Florence J. Wetzel (Elizabeth) of Silver Springs, FL and son, John H. Wetzel III (Marian) of New Castle, PA. She is also survived by two sisters, Lucille Hudak (Jim) and Rose Yobst (Robert), 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many dear nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Sigismund Dziubinski and sisters, Ches Mafrice, Genevieve Lesko and Victoria Taylor and her step-father, Albert Cichon.
An interment service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery Memorial Chapel, 700 Soose Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15209, officiated by Ian Kelley.
