Floyd Wendell Brown was born May 9, 1965, to the late Brenette Porter of Grace and Floyd Whitfield of Cleveland, Ohio. Floyd accepted Christ at an early age.
He received his formal education at Rolling Fork High School. After graduation, he joined the Navy in 1986, where he served for 9 years. Floyd possessed a spirited and sincere personality as a husband, father, and grandfather. Floyd was Playful and charismatic, which is what everyone loved about him. Floyd was always helping people who were in need. Floyd met the love of his life, Miki (Sakigawara) Brown, in Japan in 1994. They got married in 2010 in California and remained married for 15 years.
Floyd was a faithful practioner of Sukyo Mahikari which practices Universal Principles and transmits High dimensional Light energy that purifies the spirit, mind and body to help raise the spiritual level of individuals by removing toxins from the spiritual body. He faithfully volunteered his time to help others by offering many types of service at our Center with altruistic love. Everyone from our Organization loved Floyd. His smile was as bright as the sun and everyone loved to be in his presence because he was such a genuine, good person who put the needs of others first and faithfully practices faith directed towards God
On September 7, 2025, Floyd departed his early home to join our lord and savior.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Whitfield and Brenette Porter, and son Converick Thomas.
Cherishing the memory of Floyd are his wife, Miki (Sakigawara) Brown of Ana, Texas; Three sisters, Deffanie Brown of Evans, GA; Shelia (Willie) Johnson- Brown of Killeen, TX, and Laciel Porter of Olympia, WA. One brother, Rayphiel Porter of Killeen, TX. Two sons, Christopher Green of Spokane, Wa, and Jayden Brown of Ana, TX. Two daughters, S’kylinn Zehnder of Los Angeles, CA, and Taysia Zehnder of Seattle, WA. Two Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
