Abbeville, LA – A home-going celebration of life for Mr. Framanian Donzeil Plowden, Jr., 20, will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Lighthouse for Jesus Ministry Church Sanctuary of Strength (6526 Chiasson Road) with Bishop Donnie Bolden, Jr., officiating.
Visitation hours will be observed at Lighthouse for Jesus Ministry Church Sanctuary of Strength on Saturday, February 3, 2024, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
He will await the resurrection at Saint Paul Cemetery (515 Jacqulyn Street) in Abbeville, LA.
Framanian was a resident of Houston, TX and a native of Abbeville, LA. He transitioned at 2:08 A.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, in Houston, TX.
After finishing high school Framanian Jr., tried his hand in the oil-field industry where he worked on the drilling rigs for six months, he then decided to enroll at Northwest Educational Center to obtain his barbers license.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father: Framanian Plowden, Sr., of Rayne, LA; his mother: Kelli Handy (Damien) of Houston, TX; five brothers: Marlon Chambers, Jared Matthews, Travion Mouton, Nadaedrion Mouton all of Abbeville, LA, and Korreon Plowden of Houston, TX; three sisters: Danae Green of Houston, TX, Kayla Chambers of Youngsville, LA, and Raeondria Briggs of Abbeville, LA; five step-siblings: Brykiethon Mouton, K'Vahn Mouton, De'Kyri Handy, all of Lafayette, LA, Javonta Handy of Cecilia, LA, Damien J. Handy, Jr., (Jasmine) of Houston, TX; his companion: Joynell Johnson of Houston, TX; three aunts: Shartamia Williams (Roosevelt), Melinda Plowden (Reca) both of Abbeville, LA, Tracy Gentry of Portland, OR; two uncles: Trevor Gentry of Vancouver, WA, and John Gentry, III, of Spring, TX; paternal grandparents: Donald Plowden, Sr., Pearl Plowden, and Framan Grogan all of Abbeville, LA; maternal grandparents: Herman Green and Rita Green of Magnolia, TX; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-great grandparents: Melinda Plowden, Lawerence Reaux, Eloise Rice, and Hayward Rice, Sr; maternal grandmother: Linda (Shelvin) Green; godmother: Masheba Lewis; one sister: Framik Chambers; maternal great-great grandparents: Gordy Shelvin and Amy Shelvin, Joseph Green and Hester Green.
Active pallbearers are Marlon Chambers, Jared Matthews, Nadaedrion Mouton, Travion Mouton, Tre'Mikal Plowden, and Cornelius King, IV.
Honorary pallbearers are Korreon Plowden, Donald Plowden, Jr., Damien Handy, Jr., Travis Harris, Deon Green, Deshawn Green, Elijah Williams, Dante Plowden, and Steve Viator.
