Frances Mary Case

Frances Mary (Mikolajcik) Case, 91, of Avon, beloved wife of the late Frederick H. Case, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025. Born in Burlington, daughter of the late John and Mary (Erha) Mikolajcik, she was raised in Collinsville. She worked for KWL Insurance, Canton, Wagner Ford, Simsbury, and owned Country Colonial Dress Shop in Canton with Joni Bahre for many years. Frances loved spending time with her family, especially at the RI shore where she was an active member of the Ocean Ridge Civic Association and spent several years as its secretary. She also enjoyed spending time working in her flower garden and was also an avid reader. She leaves her three daughters Karen A. Dorvel and her husband Robert of Paris, KY, Leslie A. Bahre and her husband Mark of Canton, and Jacqueline A. McCarty and her husband John of Conyers, GA; her grandchildren Kate van Horne and her husband Craig, Grayson Dorvel and his wife Jaclyn, Tyler Bahre, Benjamin Bahre and his wife Jessica, Hunter Bahre and his wife Lauren, Case and Evan McCarty; and greatgrandchildren Kali and Casey Dorvel, Maxx van Horne, Nellie Bahre, Jaci and Judson McCarty. Beside her parents and husband Frederick, she was predeceased by a brother George Mikolajcik and her sister Marion Rotondo. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her family Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10 AM at the Church of Saint Ann, Private burial will be in Dyer Cemetery, Canton.
