Frances Jean Fuchs, 82, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Heartland Villa Center in Lewisport. She was born November 13, 1942 in Daviess County to the late Everett and Nellie Golday Sheets. Frances worked as a custodian at Kentucky Wesleyan College and was a member of Encounter Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fuchs.

She is survived by three sons, Brad Rideout, Paul Jeff Rideout (Karen), and Tim Rideout; stepson, Timothy Fuchs; seven grandchildren; siblings, Judy Amiet (Louis) of Henderson, Sondra Sellers of Henderson and Rita Gazelle (Eddie) of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Visitation is from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

One of the most beautiful women I have met. Her inner beauty & kindness shone so bright. She was a blessing to all at Heartland Villa. I´m so glad to have known her. She was such a good friend to my mom and others who are also there. She will be missed by all.
