Frances Stella Kasperowicz Gautieri, "Frankie," 84, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025 in Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Florida.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, to Cecelia and Stanley Kasperowicz, she grew up in Nutley, New Jersey with her brother, Stanley Kasperowicz, "Sonny." Frankie graduated from St. Michael's Nursing School, Newark, New Jersey, and married her sweetheart, Frank Gautieri, in 1961. She lived in Belford, New Jersey, for thirty years and worked as a Registered Nurse at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank and Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel, New Jersey.
After raising their family, she moved to Florida in 1992, where she worked in the Operating Room in Mease Countryside Hospital until retiring in 2008.
Frankie enjoyed swimming, gardening, walking, bird watching, travels, and exercising at the YMCA. Some of her favorite moments were spent with her family and her many long-time friends. In the last eleven years, hanging out with her loving companion, George Rolandini, brought her great joy.
Frankie was predeceased by her parents, Ceclia and Stanley Kasperowicz, her brother, Stanley Kasperowicz, and her husband, Frank V. Gautieri in 2013.
She is survived by her children: Vincent Gautieri, his wife Sue, and Cheryl Gautieri; her grandchildren: Lauren, Eric, and Alyssa; her great-grandchildren: Christian, Jordan, Maya, Cortland, Reese, and Charlotte; and her nieces and nephews: Michele Biskobing, Richard Kasperowicz, Kristen Kasperowicz, Victoria Perry, and Elizabeth Van Lenten.
