Pascucci, Frances Josephine (Dinardo) of Wellesley, MA and formerly of Beverly, MA passed on August 23, 2023 at age 82 surrounded by her cherished family. Fran felt grateful for the wonderful life she lived and was spiritually at peace after having met the challenges of cancer for several years.
Fran was born in Beverly, MA to her parents Frank and Mary, along with beloved sisters Pat and Kathy. She had a wonderful childhood complete with friends who would be with her for life. She graduated from Beverly High School (where she was awarded the superlative of Most Friendly) in 1959 and then The Katharine Gibbs School in Boston. She later worked at General Electric in Lynn where she met her beloved husband, Phil who passed away in 1998. While bringing up their five children, Fran worked as the school secretary at the Centerville Elementary School in Beverly and was the office manager at William H. Waters, DDS.
After the sudden death of Phil while visiting family in London, Fran moved to Wellesley to be closer to her large family. Fran was most proud of her five children and later thirteen grandchildren. Both Fran and Phil impressed the importance of education on their children and grandchildren.
Fran loved being a mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, entertaining, gardening and reading. She loved the beach and was ready at a moment's notice to travel, open her mind and better understand the world. Her world travels included all of the U.S. as well as Europe, South Africa, and Asia. A highlight of her travels was a camel ride and dune buggying with her son Mike in the desert of Dubai. This was all after she and Phil traveled across the country twice with all five children in the back of their station wagon.
She thoroughly enjoyed company and her door was always open to anyone kind enough to think of visiting her.
Fran leaves behind her son Michael, daughter-in-law Hope, and grandchildren Luke and Annie of Needham, daughter, Dawn, son-in-law Terry, grandchildren Victoria, Francesca, and Preston of Wellesley, son Steven, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren Isabelle, Cole and Ava of Concord, son Duke, daughter-in-law Suzanne, grandchildren Daniella, Philip, and Santina of Needham and daughter Laurie and grandchildren Howard and Bobby of San Francisco. She embraced countless time spent with each and all. What a gift.
Fran was predeceased by her husband Phil, parents Frank and Mary (DiFeo) Dinardo, in-laws Henry and Josephine Pascucci, sister Pat O'Neil, brother-in-law Ted O'Neil, sister Kathy Long, niece Julie O'Neil and nephew Timothy Long. Fran wishes to be remembered by her oldest friends, "The 59ers" of Beverly, along with her newest friends in Wellesley and Needham. They were all so caring and supportive during challenging times. "Ciao, my friends". Near and dear to her heart are nieces and nephews of the Long, Sloan, and O'Neil families.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 28th at 11:00 AM at Grace Church, 21 Centre Street, Dover, MA, 02030. A reception will follow on the grounds of the church where Fran's family will receive her guests. All are welcome.
