Frances Mendoza Vidal, 61, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on June 26, 2025, in her hometown.
Born on August 15, 1963, in Kingsville, Frances was the beloved daughter of David Mendoza and Felipa Salazar. A lifelong resident of Kingsville, she dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Christus Spohn, where her compassion and dedication touched many lives.
Frances was known for her warm heart, her joyful spirit, and her unmatched talent in the kitchen. Cooking was her love language, and no family gathering was complete without her delicious meals. The holidays were her favorite time of year - not only for the joy and togetherness they brought but also for the opportunity to create cherished keepsakes for her grandchildren. Her creative spirit and thoughtful nature left lasting memories in the hearts of those she held dear.
Above all, Frances found her greatest joy in her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.
Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Alfonso Mendoza.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Rodolfo Vidal; her two daughters, Araceli Vidal (Joe Trejo) and Felyssa Vidal, both of Kingsville; her cherished grandsons, Anthony De La Vina and Sebastian Rodriguez; three brothers, David (Claudia) Mendoza Jr., Andy Mendoza, and Lee (Janie) Mendoza, all of Kingsville; and one sister, Priscilla (Alfredo) Ramos of Mission, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place at a later date.
Frances will be remembered for her deep love of family, her giving heart, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.
