Resident of: Espanola – Born & raised in Truchas Date of death: October 16, 2025
Preceded in death by: Grandmother who raised as her own Mary Trujillo & Grandfather Eliseo Trujilo who also raised her as his own and aunt Yvonne Trujillo.
Francine is survived by her lifelong partner Noah Lucero, her only Sister Ashley Trujillo, Partner Dennis Salazar Jr. Mother Nancy Trujillo partner Eddie Rivera, her only nieces whom she loved as her own Aaliyah Trujillo Salazar and Adalynn Trujillo Salazar. She was also their godmother.
She is also survived by her uncles Archie Trujillo & partner Pablita, Eliseo E. Trujillo Jr. & partner Maria, Aunt Julie Trujillo partner Eugene.
Mother-in-law Carmella I. Lucero and brother-in-law Adam Lucero.
And many loved cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was a very caring soul, loved children, and loved helping people. She will be missed by her family very much.
She graduated from Espanola High School in 2008. She volunteered for some time at the Truchas Food Bank.
She was employed as an educational Assistant at Los Ninos, prior to that was employed with Lowe’s Home Improvement as a customer service representative.
Her hobbies and interests were fishing, camping, spending time with her sister Ashley, brother-in-law Dennis Jr., her boyfriend Noah and her nieces Adalynn and Aaliyah. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos and spending time with her mother Nancy. She also enjoyed special trips to Starbucks.
Public services to be held at the DeVargas Funeral home in Espanola on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Private burial will take place later.
