Glenn Gene Fernandez, 56, passed away on October 5, 2025. He was born on April 22, 1969, in Embudo, New Mexico, to Felix Fernandez Jr. and Olivia Fernandez.
Glenn grew up in Alcalde, New Mexico, and graduated from Española Valley High School. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a long career as a truck driver. Glenn had a deep love for his family, especially his children, who were a source of pride and joy. He was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and looked forward to watching their games every week. Known for his positive attitude, respect for others, and willingness to lend a helping hand, Glenn made a lasting impact on those around him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Felix Fernandez Sr. and Aurora Fernandez, as well as his maternal grandparents, Henry Pacheco Sr. and Maria Pacheco.
Glenn is survived by his parents, Felix Fernandez Jr. and Olivia Fernandez; his children, Andres Fernandez and wife Amber Fernandez, Destiny (Eli), Kimberly, and Elijah; his grandsons, Roman, Dominic, Deluca, and one more grandchild on the way; his brother, Larry Fernandez; his sister, Elsie Fernandez; and his nieces and nephews, Brittany Garcia (James), Gabrielle Fernandez, Brianna Herrera, Stephanie Valencia, and Jerome Martinez. He is also survived by his great-nephew, Malachi Martinez, and great-niece, Taliyah Martinez, with another great-niece on the way. Glenn is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold a special place in his heart. Glenn will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral service will take place on Friday October 17, 2025 at 11:00 am, at New Creation Church in Espanola.
