Frankie Curley, born on August 13, 1946, in the Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, in Middletown, New York.
Frankie dedicated his career to the NYC Parks Department, where his efforts contributed to the beauty and vitality of the city he loved. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Frankie found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a deep affection for children and animals, forming meaningful connections that reflected his kind and compassionate spirit. He also enjoyed drawing and reading, pursuits that allowed him to express his creativity and find peace.
For over 20 years, Frankie volunteered at Circleville Elementary School, giving his time and energy to support the community and inspire young minds. His dedication to service was a testament to his generous
heart.
Frankie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy of kindness, creativity, and service bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
Frankie is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen Curley, and their three children: Jon, Michael, and Nicole. He was also a joyful grandfather to six grandchildren: Kaila, Connor, Gavin, Liam, Katelynn, and Noah. The proud son of Catherine Curley (née McLaughlin), and dedicated sibling of Lillian and Thomas Curley. His family was the cornerstone of his life and brought him immense pride and joy.
