Francis “Frank” Joseph Murnaghan, 86, of Springfield, PA and formerly of Yeadon, PA passed away on July 12, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1938, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Anne E. (née Brown) Murnaghan.
Frank was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys and Villanova Law School. He also attended Temple University. He worked as an attorney, public defender and was a district judge in Yeadon for several years. He was also a Fourth Degree Knight with the DeLasalle Knights of Columbus, Council 590 in Springfield, PA.
Frank was the beloved husband, for 59 years, of Jacqueline M. (née Garnet) Murnaghan; loving father of Jacqueline Ann Marie Jones (Richard) and Francis Walter Murnaghan (Janet); and proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday, July 26, 2025 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Kevin Catholic Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Cystic Firbrosis Foundation, www.cff.org.
