Frank Charles Domincovitch, age 75 of Lebanon, passed away on June 29th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rebecca Domincovitch; father and mother-in-law, Martin and Georgia Barrett; and brothers-in-law, Frank "Slick" McCrary and Guy Martin Barrett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Delores Domincovitch; son, Marty (Lisa) Heckman; precious granddaughter, Marisa Heckman; sister, Ruthann McCrary; nieces, Jennifer (Adam) Meadors and Kate Davis; nephews, Charles McCrary, John (Meagan) McCrary and Kyle Upton; great-nieces, Hailey Meadors, Violet Meadors, Callie McCrary, and Abby McCrary; great-nephews, Logan and Levi McCrary. He also leaves behind special friends, Billy and Margaret Jones, along with many other beloved family members and friends.
Frank was a 1967 graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University before enlisting in the United States Navy. Over the course of his distinguished 30-year military career, he rose to the rank of Master Chief, serving aboard eight different aircraft carriers during multiple conflicts, including the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War. His dedication and service earned him numerous commendations and medals, including the National Defense Service Medal.
Following his retirement from the Navy, Frank worked as a USPS clerk at the Mt. Juliet Branch until 2021. He was known for his warmth and friendly demeanor, always making people feel welcome.
Frank enjoyed the outdoors, traveling with friends, and watching classic John Wayne films. He took great pride in being the "Prop Grandpa" for Rockstar Academy of Dance, supporting his granddaughter and her dance family with enthusiasm and love. Frank had a magnetic presence-he could light up any room, was always dancing, and had a nickname for everyone. With his great sense of humor and generous spirit, he truly never met a stranger.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel, and again on Thursday, July 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment with full military honors will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Kevin Medlin and Bro. Steve Delashmit will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers are Adam Meadors, Marty Heckman, Billy Jones, Charles McCrary, John McCrary, Allen Yelton, Gus Yelton, and Matt Nevans.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Our hearts and sympathy go out to Frank's family. My husband and I would always hear such wonderful and funny post office "tales" about Frank from our daughter Christine Rogers. She love him so.

RuthAnn,
I'm so sorry about your brother. He graduated the year I did but at LHS. You are a sweet friend!
With love,
