Frank Hyatt

Frank Hyatt, 72 years of age, of Jolo, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Born July 6, 1953, in Richlands, VA, he was the son of the late John and Clair Rowe Hyatt.
Frank was a retired coal miner and an avid outdoorsman. He loved trading, riding his four wheelers and spending time with his family. He was a devoted family man who loved his kids and grandkids dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, James Rose, J.D. Hyatt, and Kelly Hyatt, and two sisters Gerlean Meadows and Shirley Henderson.
Survivors including his wife of 54 years Janet Hyatt; daughters Angela Hyatt of the home, Tina Hyatt Wheeler and husband John of Avondale, WV; son Earvin Hyatt of Jolo, WV; brother Tommy Hyatt and wife Kathy of Long Pole, WV; and sister Mary Browning and husband Jimmy of War, WV.
He is also survived by grandchildren Tony and Jody Jones, Tara and Jonathan Laxton, Sarah Sparks and Tyler Vance, Brianna Hagerman and husband Jordon, Brandi Blankenship and husband Wyatt, Synticia McDaniel and husband Bobby, and Christopher Lester; and great grandchildren Tina, Toni, and Jase Jones, Madison, Kyler, Laya, Logan and Waylon Hagerman, Maelynn and Emberleigh Blankenship, Kyndal and Jonathan Laxton, Draven, Emma and Rhythm McDaniels, Rilynn and Taelin Vance; and special nephews Dwayne Hyatt, Junebug Reed, Ritchie Vance, John Meadows and Leroy Reed.
Funeral Services for Frank Hyatt will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at Upon the Rock Ministries, Bradshaw, WV, with Pastors Corey and Angel Smith and John Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Hyatt Rowe Cemetery, 4975 Long Pole Hollow, Iaeger, WV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m.
