Funeral services for Frank Ortegon III, 37 of Lincoln, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana in Giddings with Pastor Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, August 5, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral Home.
Frank Ortegon III was born on August 8, 1986, to Frank Ortegon Jr. and Patsy "Gutierrez" Ortegon in Houston, Texas. Frank was baptized on November 12, 2023 at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispania. Frank worked with Celebrate Recovery at the church. He enjoyed drawing, reading the bible, working and constructing shelters at the family farm in Lincoln. Frank was always excited to attend church and Sunday school. His biggest passion in life was taking care of his daughter Onsty.
God called Frank back to Himself on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Ortegon; two uncles, Mondo Mendoza and John Ortegon Sr.; aunt, Linda Elizabeth Ortegon Regan; two cousins, John Ortegon Jr. and Robert Enriquez.
Frank is survived by his grandmother, Hope Guerrero of Lincoln; father, Frank Ortegon Jr. of Bryan; daughter, Onsty Olivia Ortegon of Lincoln; three siblings, Hope Flores and husband Flortino of Lincoln, Elizabeth Ortegon of Houston, and Jenifer Reyes of Houston as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Eliseo Ramirez Sr., Eliseo Ramirez Jr, Angel Ramirez, Johnny Vargas, Roland Viana, Tommy Enriquez, Robby Medina, and Aaron Haughton.
Memorials may be given to the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispania in Giddings, Celebrate Recovery or to the charity of one's choice.
