Franklin Peter Twilley passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. He was 89 years old. Frank was born to Stanford and Edna Twilley on October 3, 1935 in Maryland. His mother passed away when he was about 3 years old. His two older sisters, Norma Lee and Annabelle helped take care and raise him. Frank met Betty June Howard in 1952. She said she would date him if he went to church. He did take her to church and became a Christian. He took his family to church for years. Frank and Betty were married on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1953. They had three daughters and a son (who passed away soon after birth.) Frank held several jobs including truck driver and finally working for E.I. DuPont in Seaford, Delaware for about 27 years before retiring. After living in Laurel, Delaware for several years, the family moved to Bridgeville, Delaware. Frank bought and cleared the land where the family lived. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood, Delaware. The Reverend Guy Simpson will officiate. Interment will follow in Athol Cemetery near Mardela, Maryland. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00.
