Fred T. Bean Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Great-Great Grandfather
Fred T. Bean, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A man of quiet strength and generosity- someone who could mend just about anything, from a broken television to a broken heart.
Born in 1940, Fred grew up with tools in one hand and a deep love for family in the other. Whether it was patching a leaky faucet or restoring an old radio, he found joy in making things work again. Fred worked at several occupations throughout his life but ultimately settled on starting his own business--Bean's Seating and Construction-- in the late 1970's, traveling to numerous states and Mexico installing theatre, fairground, Civic Center, and other large seating venues. Fred would also assist in helping other companies working on the same project to solve difficult problems, whether it be sound, lighting or electrical issues. He was appreciated by all he worked with.
Fred was proceeded in death by his Highschool Sweetheart, Beverly Bean; both parents Frank Bean and Elsie Bean-Alexander; his brother Frank Bean Jr.
Fred's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his brother Larry Bean; children; Tamara Henderson and Teresa Powell; his cherished grandchildren; Toyia Mayfield and husband Randy, Nick Lewis, Lindsay Woodward and husband Robert, Brad Powell, Brittany Byars and husband Cole, Nathan Dickinson, and Tanner Dickinson; his Great-Grandchildren; Laine Noble, Lilly Noble, Logan Noble and wife Kaitlyn Noble, Wylen Noble and wife Carmen Noble, Gage Noble, Xavier Noble, Ayzlinn Woodward, Orion Woodward, Isabelle Lewis and Makenzie Cain, Paige Powell and Caleb Powell and Sammy Bryant; his Great-Great Grandchildren; Olivia Noble and Sebastian Noble. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Fred leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and the enduring impact of a life spent doing things that mattered most.
Fred did not want a elaborate funeral. In honoring his wishes, there will be two visitations Thursday, September 25th and Friday September 26 from 8am to 8 pm. Fred's family will be at the funeral home Friday September 26th from 5pm to 8 pm for anyone who would like to visit with them.

I'm am so saddened to hear about the passing of your dad and Paw paw. In my eyes, he was a great man. He would always come and help me, as well as others. Fred was a true friend and an altruistic man. You have no idea all the things he did for me when I lived in Midwest city. I always loved him and knew he was a blessing to me. Every time I see a stray coffee cup remember your dad. Him and Beb, can finally once again rejoice in each other's arms along with a bag of Cheeze nips.
