Frederick Erwine Obituary
Frederick H. Erwine, 78, of Zanesville, died at 9:30 AM on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his home. He was born November 23, 1945, in Zanesville, a son of the late Marvin and Katherine "Betty" (Coleman) Erwine. He had worked most recently at Safety Clean, and previously at Gould Battery for 23 years. Fred enjoyed hunting, gambling, and boating in his free time and loved watching his 49ers, especially his favorite player Joe Montana.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan (McClary) Erwine, whom he married April 21, 1974; two daughters Jill Severn and Jodi (Conrad) Wilkins; four grandchildren, Courtney (Ian) Overholt, Taylor Wilkins, Austin Severn and Kaden Severn; sister Becky McDowell; brother Jerry Erwine; and special cousin Teresa Boysel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law Randy Severn; and a brother Marvin Erwine.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Lafayette Lodge #79. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
