Frederick Oliver Obituary Frederick "Fred" Harold Oliver, 63, of Senecaville, passed away Monday (December 30, 2024) at his home.
He was born September 11, 1961 in Barberton, son of Patricia (Archer) Oliver and the late Fred Oliver.
Fred was a 1979 graduate of Meadowbrook High School and of the vocational school in Zanesville where he studied drafting. He worked at Picoma Industries for nearly 40 years as a scheduler.
He was a member of the Belle Valley American Legion.
Fred was a Steelers fan and loved a good cold beer.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Oliver; and a brother-in-law, Randy Porter.
Fred is survived by his wife, Amy (Sulpher) Oliver, whom he married in September of 1981; his mother, Patricia Oliver of Byesville; two sons, Joel Oliver of Byesville and Chevie (& Kayla) Oliver of Cambridge; a daughter, Shay (& Johnny) Oliver-Hannahs of Byesville; a brother, Ernie Oliver of Byesville; a sister, Lisa Porter of Byesville; six grandchildren, Hailee, Rylie, Tyler, Parker, Alaynna, and Hudson; several close friends; and his cat, Miss Kitty.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday (January 4, 2025) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
