Gail A. Bell, 78, of Buttzville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2025. Born on June 20, 1947, in Newton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Alberta "Bird" Batson and Robert Batson. Gail graduated from Hackettstown High School in 1966 and went on to work in customer service for most of her life, where her warmth, dedication, and strong work ethic touched countless people.
More than anything, Gail was a devoted mother, wife, and "Nan." She was a hard worker both in her career and in her home life, always giving her best to provide for her family and support those around her. She is survived by her three beloved daughters, Michelle Enders, Sherri Rotondo, and Kelly Suyker and her husband Bill; and by her five cherished grandchildren, Kayla Aquilino and her husband Thomas, Alexis Rotondo, Daniel Rotondo, William Suyker, and Nicholas Suyker. She was predeceased by her husband, Ron Bell, her son-in-law, Daniel Rotondo, and her parents.
Her greatest joy was time spent with family-holidays filled with laughter, quiet afternoons watching her grandchildren grow, and simple pleasures like enjoying her favorite treat, ice cream. Gail will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle spirit, and the example she set of working hard and loving deeply.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
