Gail Katten

1937 - 2022

Katten, Gail, - 84, of Somers Point, passed away in the early morning of September 30th, 2022. She is predeceased by her sons Jim and Rick and her great granddaughter Angelina. She is survived by her husband Ernest; her sister Cheryl; her 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Gail lived her life for her family and her community. She was a longtime member and retired chief of the Somers Point rescue squad. She was a very active member of Holy Trinity Church in Ocean City, and led the Compassionate Friends for several years. Gail loved and cherished her family and friends, as well as her community. She touched many lives with her years of community service and loving personality, and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on October 22, 2022 at 11am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 2998 Bay Ave., Ocean City, where a gathering will begin at 10:30am. Burial will be private.
