Garrett Foster Baldwin, affectionately known as Gary, passed away peacefully at the age of 63 in his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 5, 1961, in Houston, Texas, to Charlotte and Wayne Baldwin.
Gary proudly dedicated 27 years of his professional life to Beckwith, where he was a valued employee and friend to many. His passions included hunting, fishing, country music, and the joy of flying kites and remote-controlled airplanes. Gary could always be found tackling home projects, which ranged from nurturing a vegetable garden and flying kites, to building a treehouse for his beloved daughter during her childhood.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Francesca Baldwin, aged 23; his brothers, William Clay Baldwin and Wayne Baldwin Jr.; and his cherished dog, Ellie May.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Baldwin, and his father, Wayne Baldwin.
Gary was a loving and devoted father, brother, son and friend to many. He was so smart, articulate and he had the biggest heart. Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
