Garry G. Sluder, born on May 6, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on June 25, 2025, in Potosi, Missouri. He was the son of the late Otto and Dorothy Sluder. Garry will be remembered for his exceptional talent at crafting with popsicle sticks, a skill that brought joy to many.

Garry had a love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and attending auctions where he had a knack for lowering prices. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR races, often found cheering for his favorite drivers.

He dedicated part of his life to serving as a volunteer firefighter, which stands as one of his proudest accomplishments, showcasing his selfless spirit and desire to help others.

Garry is survived by his children, Larry & Michelle Turney Jr, Billy & Melanie Coffman, Bobby & Sherry Coffman, and Angela & Damon Johnson. He is also remembered by his brother, Larry Sluder, and sister, Janette Green. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will carry on his memory.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Woodburn, and his second wife, Mildred (Phares) Sluder; his daughter, Nancy Turney, and brothers Richard Sluder and Terry Sluder.

Visitation for Garry will take place on June 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at DeClue Funeral Home, located at 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO 63664. This will be followed by the funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Garry's life was full of creativity, compassion, and love for family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
